Voice-over-IP (VoIP) Gateway
Introduction
Instead of using conventional Public Switched Telephone Network (PSTN), VoIP uses packet switched IP data network to send or receive real-time audio streams. VoIP allows voice and data to share the same IP network such as IPLC or Internet and thus it is an alternative & economical means of long distance voice communications. A dedicated VoIP gateway allows you link up 1 or more than 2 PABXs from different regions via an IP data network. It can inter-work with traditional telephone set.
